I’ve spent today editing and sorting some old photographs. I was working on a series of photographs from from lure coursing events I photographed. I really like this series I captured of this medium sized wired haired white dogs enjoying some lure coursing. Check it out. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I love photographing dogs doing things they love. One of my favorite things to photograph dogs doing is agility. There are so many different angles and changes of direction when a dog is running an agility course that it can be difficult to follow and get good photos throughout the whole course. I am always really happy when I can capture a whole sequence of photos that show a dog moving through… Read More

Don’t let obstacles stand in your way. What hurdles will you be jumping over on your way to a great 2018? Now check out this series of photographs of a sheltie clearing a hurdle during agility trials at the Wine Country Circuit dogs Show at Sampson State Park in 2017.

Kira came to be part of our family in a funny way. I had been volunteering my time at the Chemung County SPCA to photograph the dogs and cats there that are available for adoption. Normally I would think this is great, but right now all my running goal have me training… Read More

Last year we went to this event for rescue and shelter organizations at a local winery. It is so much fun to see all the shelter/rescue dogs out int he public getting attention. The event… Read More

Sometimes in life you get some bad news and your are not sure it can get any worse. But then to your dismay it gets even worse. Literally twice as bad as it was before. How do things like this happen? Two weeks ago our gentle giant Big Kira was diagnosed with cancer. That hit us like a sucker punch. Totally unexpected. Now we had to take Little Kira to the vet… Read More

We were able to spend part of the day Sunday at Fulkerson Winery supporting a local rescue, Rainbow of Hope.

For anyone who was unable to visit and enjoy the opening of my joint art exhibit with my dad here are some photos I was able to take during the show. I tried to capture a few long exposure photos to show people moving through the exhibit space. The images themselves didn’t come out as well as I had hoped but trying to capture some photos and mingle with guests was more… Read More
