Today my father invited me to go down to the Chemung River with him and his dog Sparky and hang out. I always enjoy a chance to hang out with my dad. Things only get better when you add the opportunity to be out in nature and to be around a dog.

I’ve been working on a project to film and photograph the local osprey nesting on the Chemung river in Elmira. I stopped down the other evening to see them. It wasn’t the greatest night for filing or photography. A storm had just passed through the area. The sky was cloudy and it was dark and gloomy. I have been lucky enough to work with Paddy twice now. When I first met her she had just recently come to the shelter and she seemed a bit down. You could just look at her and sense that she was sad. I once again had a wonderful opportunity to photograph the dogs currently for adoption at the Chemung County SPCA. There are currently three dogs available for adoption: Bear, Kenya, and Paddy.
