One photo a day challenge: Day 68.

I went for a run today and I brought my camera so that I could take some photos afterwords.

The run went great. And the photography went great.

I wanted to photograph this beautiful majestic tree in the park. This tree is one of the first subjects I ever photographed. I photographed it for the first time when all I had was a film camera and I was using black and white film.

Twenty years later the sun was low in the sky. The light was streaking across the field and illuminating the tree. Beautiful warm light.

And as it turned out my camera had just enough juice left in the battery to capture 20 images, one of which was this beauty.
