One photo a day challenge: Day 67.

I recently was finally able to capture some good images of our cat Monkey. She usually doesn’t cooperate for photos. After having that recent success I was inspired to try again.

For todays photos I thought I would try to capture some more portrait style photographs of our cat Monkey. I really like to use my macro lens for pet portraits, especially at home. That lens allows me to get right up close.

There is a cat tower in my office. Monkey loves it. She has pretty much taken it over. When she is in her cat tower she mostly stays put.

I was able to set up some lighting and lean in close for photos. Monkey cooperated nicely.
