Baltimore Orioles are always welcome early spring visitors. Bright orange contrasted with deep black colors in the male birds. Baltimore Orioles will visit back yards. Sparrows are pretty small birds. They can be hard to see. Even harder to photograph. Harder still to identify. This is a White-Throated Sparrow. I have only 100 photos of White-Crowned Sparrows. Almost all of the photos I have of White-Crowned Sparrows that I really like were taken this year.
