See what I'm up to on Instagram
Always fun to get down to Wellsboro and run with the Tyoga Running Club group run. We explored part of the PA Grand Canyon along Pine Creek.
I am really enjoying learning from some tutorials again from @floortjesart. This step by step Morning tutorial was a beautiful image and I really like having written instructions to follow. I struggle to keep up and follow the videos and have to keep rewinding over and over. Being able to take my time and read at my own pace made this more relaxing and enjoyable.
Twelve degrees hotter than the average temperature for this time of year and so much sun. I was melting on the second half of the run. I would have done anything for some of yesterday’s rain during the last two miles.
For the first time in a while I followed a tutorial to create some art. I learned something about creating the exact type of art I aspire to create. So I am really excited about that. The image in the tutorial was really cool. I think mine turned out ok. What do you think? What have you been learning in art?
I love having created this simple template of a blue sky background, yellow sun, and tree. This creates a great jumping off point to create new art by adjusting these elements and adding new elements. It is especially great for when I get a bunch of new brushes to try out in Procreate.
I forgot how much fun it can be to run in the rain. It was unseasonably warm most of the day while I was working. But I planned to meet a friend for a run right after work. It got cloudy and looked like rain. As I drove to her house for our run it began to rain progressively harder. We started in the rain and it rained to some degree for all 7 miles. And it felt much better than running in the 70+ degree heat would have.
