If you look around your house, there really are so many things that can be good photography subjects. The key and the hardest part is to just open your mind and think outside the box. Especially if you aren’t someone who shoots still life regularly.

One of the biggest reasons I wanted to take on a one photo a day challenge a couple of years ago was to give myself permission to photograph things I do not usually photograph. Do things that I am not good at. Take chances. Take risks.
