A Peaceful Moment | American Staffordshire Terrier | New York

Some dog breeds you fall in love with on first contact with. Some you slowly warm up to and develop this deep affectionate feeling for.

At first I wasn’t sure if the American Staffordshire Terrier was a breed I liked.

Repeated exposure has really softened me up to these dogs.

It helps when you have experience in shelters, adopt a amstaff mix type dogs, and are able to help some handlers at a dog show watch their dogs.

One thing that I do like about the American Staffordshire Terrier bred is that there is a fair amount of diversity in how individual dogs in the bred will look.

Dog shows can be a busy and hectic place. This American Staffordshire Terrier is taking a moment for some peace.
