One photo a day challenge: Day 196.

With all the rain lately it seems like the growth rate of plants has kicked into overdrive.

I often focus on photographing flowers and trees when I am outdoors.

However, Right now it is the time of the Fun Gi. Get it, Fungi.

Yeah I know, terrible joke. But Seriously there are mushrooms growing all over my yard right now. I photographed at least 4 different types of mushrooms tonight. And there was at least on type I did not photograph.

I thought this mushroom had a cool look. I like how the mushroom cap is almost inverted. This exposes the ridges along the edge of the mushroom. I think that makes for an interesting image of a mushroom.
