One photo a day challenge: Day 82.

Starting this week I will begin a new part of my photography journey. I am going to begin teaching photography classes at 171 Cedar Arts.

For part of these courses and workshops I will be teaching we will be on location. I am planning to have some of my teaching centered around specific locations in our area. Those classes will focus on photographing whatever it is we see on location those days.

I selected the locations for these classes based on what I expected the opportunities for photography to be like. Each location offers certain opportunities for photography.

One aspect of these events I was not 100% sure about was if there would be enough available parking for people who were attending.

For one of the classes I wanted to focus on photography around the Chemung River in Corning , New York. The only question was, were along the river would we meet. I had a couple of ideas.

Today I went out to investigate if any of these locations would have parking available that could accommodate attendees for the photography events. Fortunately I was able to find that one of the locations I wanted to use along the river would be able to accommodate parking.

Now one of my photography walkabouts through 171 Cedar Arts will begin at Denison Park in Corning, New York. Then we will walk over to the river and photograph whatever nature has in store for us. I will just have to update the information for that event now.
