Geese On A Winter Lake | Hemlock Lake | New York
I always like to check out new spaces.
This was my first time at Hemlock Lake. I look forward to going abck.
I was lucky to have this beautiful winter scene to photograph.
Snow covered levee. Frozen Lake. Geese all about.
There was a large flock of geese on the lake. There are two flocks of gees flying in towards the lake off in the distant sky.
I wasn’t quite sure what to do with this image.
I like the woodland hillside. The top of the trees look more straight across.
But that leaves the border with the lake looking like it is at a slant. And I can live with that.
I like the way the lines of both edges of the lake cross the image at an angle.
It might not be a technically perfect image, but it is the way I like it.
Photo details: SONY Alpha 6000. SONY 20mm f/2.8. Focal length 20mm. ISO 400. 1/320 sec. f/16.
Thank you for joining me on the blog to share this winter Finger Lakes scene.
