One photo a day challenge: Day 180.

Earlier this evening it rained. I was surprised that when I went outside around 9 PM there were still water droplets on the flowers.

I wasn’t sure what I was going to photograph. As I looked around I examined the flowers and eventually noticed the tiny things.

I did not expect to end up trying to photography tiny spiders on the flowers. It was a bit of a challenge in the dark. Using one light source. Trying to get close and keep everything in focus was difficult.

I was in the process of photographing this cluster of white flowers. I was shifting angles and moving the light around to create different images. Then I noticed the spider slowly crawling across the tops of the flowers.

I did manage to capture this one image that I liked.
