Unexpected Blue Fur | Doberman Pinscher | New York
Growing up my aunt had a Doberman Pinscher. That was my introduction to this breed of dog.
I never really had any interaction with any Doberman Pinschers that I can think of since that time.
That is until I started attending dog shows.
I initially thought that Doberman Pinschers were always black with the brown highlights.
Then I discovered they can have mostly dark brown fur with light brown highlights.
And then I saw this Doberman Pinscher whose color I absolutely love.
This light gray color. This shade of color is usually referred to as blue. And I totally love it.
I don’t know if I love this color on Doberman Pinschers so much because it seems abnormal or distinct. But I do have a tendency to like this color on many breeds of dogs where it shows up.
I like having the Doberman Pinscher facing the camera in this photo. This shows off all the different brown highlights against the blue color.
I also like having Doberman Pinscher along side a human. In this case just the legs. So you can mostly see the Doberman Pinscher but you can also get a sense of the Doberman Pinschers size. Not a small dog.
I think being able to see the size of the Doberman Pinscher in regard to a human is that there are other breeds of dogs who look similar to the Doberman Pinscher but vary most distinctly in size.
