Over The “A” Frame | Collie | New York
When I watch dogs competing in agility sometimes I think my dog might like that. Or maybe I could get my dog to do that.
Then I watch the dogs run up and over the “A” frame obstacle. And I think to myself there is no way our one dog would ever do that. We can’t even get him to walk on hard floors or use stairs. He would never run up this ramp and back down the other side.
This isn’t some small ramp the Collie is running up and over.
In this photo you can get a sense of how high that ramp is. The Collie is over their humans head.
That is no small feet literally. Dogs like this Collie have to have confidence and training to climb an obstacle that is going to take them over their humans head.
And you can see in the photo the Collie is watching their human for next steps.
