Smaller Than The Ramp | Chihuahua | New York

As I have mentioned I love big dogs. I really am not a small dog person.

The Chihuahua epitomizes the small toy dog. The Chihuahua is everything that I don’t really like about small dogs.

However, I totally understand why other people love them. There is a dog for every kind of person.

But if you want to turn me around about a particular dog breed. Let me see that breed of dog doing agility.

Check out this Chihuahua running through the agility course.

You can see just how tiny the Chihuahua is. It is barely as wide as the balance beam it is on. No need to balance. There is plenty of room for all four feet.

The small size of the Chihuahua seems like an advantage on this particular obstacle, but in every other way the small size is probably a detriment.

So many more steps required to cross the same amount of space as other dogs. But the Chihuahua is out there competing in agility.

Tiny but mighty.
