Angled On A Branch | Tufted Titmouse | New York
So many birds just have a fun look to them. The Tufted Titmouse is one of them.
The Tufted Titmouse is a small bird. And the Tufted Titmouse is mostly gray and light to white color. Narrow pointy black beaks.
But the key identifying fun characteristic of the Tufted Titmouse is the tuft of feathers pointing straight up off the top of its head.
And if you are in need of a reason to go out and watch some birds so you can look for the Tufted Titmouse then make plans to do the Great Backyard Bird Count.
I photographed this Tufted Titmouse when I was doing the Great Backyard Bird Count in 2011.
