The other night might have been the worst thunderstorm we’ve endured while out camping, but today was the rainiest day.

It rained on and off all morning. There wasn’t much relief in the afternoon either. Intermittent rains continued.

Multiple times I started fires only to be thwarted by the return of the rain.

We stayed at camp all day. Trying to make the best of it. Huddled up under our canopy to try and stay dry.

When around 6 pm the rains finally subsided for good I was so happy to be able to get a fire going. It was nice to warm up and dry off.
