Overnight into this morning we experienced a crazy thunderstorm. Wind, rain, thunder, and lightning. Probably the worst storm we’ve experienced while camping.

We stayed dry in the tent. But when we emerged everything in our campsite was soggy. Despite putting everything we left out under our canopy.

So we spent the day away from our campsite. We went out exploring the Adirondack region.

One place we stopped was Buttermilk Falls in Long Lake. There is a beautiful waterfall there.

But one thing that really captivated me was this enormous boulder along a trail there. I love all the green. Green forest and green boulder from all the life growing on it.
