One photo a day challenge: Day 155.

I love observing new growth coming in on plants. The way the foliage sprouts and unfurls. Creating new shapes that change over time.

The leaves emerge as one color. Then there is a subtle shift in color as they grow and age. Eventually the leaves develop into the green we see on most trees.

I am not sure what type of tree this is. I want to say it is some sort of Dogwood variety. However, I don’t need to know what type of plant this is to enjoy its beauty. But I would really like to know. So if you know please tell me in the comments.
