One photo a day: Day 156.

It was a scorcher outside today. I did not venture outside much to create photography.

I did brave the bright midday sun for a few minutes though. Fortunately we have planted quite a few flowers this year and they are mostly right on our front and back porch.

This saved me from having to be outside exposed to the sun in the midday heat. While photographing some of the flowers I was even able to stay entirely in the shade. That was a nice feeling.

It is nice watching these red peonies that were only planted last year return. They are starting to bloom sooner than most of our other peonies that we have had for years.

I really like the back lighting in this photograph.
