Walls Of Petals | Gerbera Daisy | New York

Gerbera Daisy.

I have photographed Gerbera Daisy flowers more often than most other types of flowers.

These have proven to be pretty hardy flowers for me.

Gerbera Daisy are typically annuals. But, I have been able to successfully overwinter them inside my house.

The Gerbera Daisy flowers have even regrown and bloomed indoors during the winter.

Then they are put back outside in the warmer weather and bloom well during their typical season.

Having photographed Gerbera Daisy so frequently I like to try and create unique images which can be a challenge.

This flower was just blooming. I looked down into the center and focused on the center of the flower.

The petals were folded up like walls as I looked down towards the middle of the flower.

Photo details: Nikon D500. Nikon 60mm f/2.8. Focal length 60mm. ISO 400. 1/1000 sec. f/4.8.

Thank you for joining me on the blog today for a close up look at a Gerbera Daisy.
