Shades Of Gray | Keeshond | New York
If you love dogs with fur the Keeshond is for you.
The Keeshond is a beautiful fluffy fur ball of a dog. Long luxurious fur that puffs out in all directions.
The Keeshond’s face is the only place where the long fur subsides and that brings great detail to the eyes, nose, and mouth of the dog. And it allows the colors of Keeshond’s face to stand out more.
The subtle shifts on tone all move together and really make the dogs coat stand out as it shifts from black to nearly white.
In this photo the focus is on the Keeshond’s head as they look to the side and the rest of the Keeshond’s body fills the rest of the frame. The body of the Keeshond frames the Keeshond’s head and the shift in color of the fur on the body perfectly highlights the dogs face.
I am really glad the photo turned out with as good focus as it has. The shutters peed was 1/500 sec which is hard to hand hold a 420mm focal length at without any hand shake and the dogs moving as a target creates an added challenge to create a sharp photo at that shutter speed.
Photo details: Nikon D300S. Nikon 300mm f/4. Focal length 420mm. ISO 400. 1/500 sec. f/5.6.
