Quite a rain soaked day here in my neck of the woods.

It rained almost all day.

Consistently rainy. Quite heavy rains at times.

It rained so hard that even the flowers under the porch roof were speckled with rain drops.

Fortunately for me this creates a nice little opportunity for some macro photography.

Working the light and shallow depth of field to isolate a selection of water droplets.
