One photo a day challenge: Day 267.

I wandered in the woods a little bit today.

Just looking for a composition I like.

Trying to find the right light.

Subjects that fit together.

The texture on this old downed log caught my attention.

I liked the stream in the background. Soft and out of focus.

Then I maneuvered my composition to include the two branches of flowers.

The flowers are soft and out of focus streaking out from the log towards the upper right corner.

All these elements create a visually appealing composition for me.
