One Photo A Day | Day 191 | Comet Closeup
One photo a day challenge: Day 191.
Today I just went out into the yard with my camera and my dogs. I didn’t really have a plan for what exactly I wanted to photograph or how I would go about taking the photographs.
I knew I would like to get at least a few photos of our dogs because it had been awhile since I had been outside with them to play and take any photos.
At first none of them seemed very interested in having their photos taken. The dogs weren’t interested in me. They were not interested in the camera. They didn’t want to be nearby where I could photograph them.
I moved on to photograph other things.
Eventually a couple of the dogs came around. They decided I was worthy of a little of their time after all.
Eventually Comet made himself available for photographs. Comet has two modes. Off doing his own thing. Being aloof. Or he is on top of you right in your face.
IN this photo I am crouched down and Comet ran over to me and got right up in my face. I was able to get him to calm down long enough that I could pull back just enough to get his head in frame and focus on his eye. This phto was made possible using my 60mm macro lens.
