One Photo a day challenge: Day 178.

Yesterday we went out and looked for interesting plants to bring home.

One plant I found was this Flowering Maple. Not truly a Maple. But it has leaves similar to Maple Trees thus the name.

I thought it was a pretty unique looking plant so I brought it home.

I like how this photo turned out. The Maple leaf in the front out of focus hiding the flowers. The flowers peaking out from around the edges.

Two flowers fully in bloom are the points of focus. There are also other buds getting ready to bloom visible.
