One photo a day challenge: Day 157.

It is amazing how much can change in a day. Nature can pass through its phases of growth before we even know it.

Just yesterday most of our peonies didn’t look like they were going to bloom any time soon. But today there are bunches of them blooming.

Some of the peonies are huge and fully opened. Other peonies are still smaller and the petals are just beginning to unfurl.

I love being present to watch nature take its course. Observing plants grown and blossom throughout the spring is one of the greatest joys of the season.
