One photo a day challenge: Day 109.

Tonight I set out exploring our woods a little more.

I was out in the woods close to sunset. The sun was mostly out of view from our hill. The light in the woods was nice.

I was drawn to the tree trunks that had other organics growing on them. I love the way the colors pop out among the gray of the bark.

It is interesting how the one side of the bark has green splotches and the other side has green streaks.

I have really become fascinated with photographing tree trunks. I’ve used a variety of lenses to create these types of photos this year. Are you sick of them yet.
