Sunlit Winter Scene | Chemung River Trails | New York

Winter is a time of year when I can really struggle in creating new photography.

I am much less adventurous in winter. And my photography probably suffers for that.

I always want to take more winter landscape photographs, but somehow never seem to make it happen.

Getting out and actually creating some nice winter scenes always makes me happy and fulfilled.

For anyone else whose photography drops off during winter I wanted to share a beautiful cold weather photo to hopefully inspire you to get out and create some photography.

This scene is from a hike down a nice winter trail along the river where I live.

Such a great combination of trees, shadows, light snow, and even brighter sunshine above.

Photo details: SONY Alpha 6000. SONY 20mm f/2.8. Focal length 20mm. ISO 400. 1/640 sec. f/16.

Thank you for joining me on the blog today to enjoy a nice winter scene.

To see another winter river scene check out this image of the Frozen Chemung River.
