Shelter Dog Playing With Toy | Bill | New York

For 8 years I volunteered at our local SPCA photographing dogs there so that they would have high quality photos to publish online.

Having good photographs of shelter dogs helps them find homes quicker.

Photos of happy dogs having fun show the dogs true personality and how that will manifest once they are out of the shelter.

I had so much fun helping dogs in this way. I really miss doing this. I am hoping to find a way to start working with shelter dogs again in the future.

I met so many amazing dogs while doing this work.

There is no better feeling than being a small part of helping a dog find a new home.

Photo details: Nikon D300S. Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8. Focal length 70mm. ISO 400. 1/6400 sec. f/2.8.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Maybe stop by your local shelter just to say hi to the dogs there. They would love some visitors.

If you enjoy my photos of dogs I have a gallery of Dog Photos.
