One Photo A Day | Day 306 | Indoor Succulent

One phot a day challenge: Day 306.

Cold weather is coming to my part of upstate, New York.

Overnight lows below freezing for the rest of the week.

I am moving a bunch of my annuals inside.

I am going to try to keep my annuals alive indoors for as long as I can.

Hopefully some of them will at least survive and go dormant only to return next spring.

Part of the goal of moving them inside is to continue to have photography subjects I can work with throughout the winter.

Photographing flowers in the winter will allow me to mix up my subject more than normal in winter months.

Tot hat end I am starting off today with photographing one plant from my indoor potted flower garden.

One of the few plants I should be likely to keep going at least for a while.

One of the varieties of succulents I have moved indoors.

Fingers crossed I can take proper care of my plants to keep them all alive.

One of my biggest problems is watering them properly. I always either forget to water them or water them too much or do one then the other over compensating for the first mistake. Who wants to be in charge of reminding me when to water my plants?
