The Nederlandse Kooikerhondje

I like this photo showing three dogs in a row. Each dog further behind the dog that is the subject is increasingly out of focus.

The shallow depth of field created by the f-stop of 3.5 takes the detail out of the image the farther into the background a part of the photo is. The other dogs lose their shape and detail as each one is farther behind the Nederlandse Kooikerhondje who is in the foreground.

The bright sunlight also creates a glow along the edge of the dogs’ fur. The lack of detail in the dogs’ form further to the background creates an even more interesting glow feature along the edge of the Nederlandse Kooikerhondje’s bodies.
