Thick Dark Fur | Black Russian Terrier | New York

The Black Russian Terrier is a fairly large dog.

If you like dogs with thick fur you would probably like that aspect of the Black Russian Terrier.

They have thick fur that looks slightly wiry, but I have never had the opportunity to pet one to verify that the hair feels wiry.

The Black Russian Terrier also has an enormous amount of fur around their head and face.

They look like they would be a formidable dog in many situations.

I have not seen many Black Russian Terriers at dog shows over the years.

I first saw a Black Russian Terrier in 2010 and I last saw one in 2015.

I love having a dark dog as the subject of the phot and the flowers that decorate the show ring along the bottom of the photo to brighten things up.
