Hardcore Dog Show | Akita And Handler In The Rain | New York
I think if anyone thinks of dogs show and show dogs and the people who compete in these events we think of dapper and super pretty dolled up dogs.
Fine suits. Well groomed dogs. Perfect conditions. Beautiful setting.
Well after watching a lot of dog shows I am here to tell you that conformation events at dog shows can get real hard core sometimes.
I love outdoor conditions for photography. I think it shows the dogs off the best.
But at an outdoor dog show one can never tell what the weather will be like. I have been fortunate that most of the events I have attended at least have decent weather.
But sometimes the weather can get harsh.
Dogs and handlers brave the weather and bad conditions at outdoor dog shows.
Both dog and handler go out in the pouring rain and give it their best. Trying to show that they are the best there on that day.
Dog shows sound soft, but watching so many dog shows I have seen how much work they are and how tough they can be to participate in.
