I set out to try something a little different today.
Using artificial light in my photography has opened up some new avenues.
The lights I have have worked out in photographing close up and medium distance photos.
Tonight I tried to use the artificial lighting on a more wide angle scenic photograph.
The lights worked to illuminate the foreground. Lighting up the tree trunk and the tall grasses.
The camera was positioned at a low angle looking up. This allowed me to capture the sky in the photograph as well.
