Creative Holiday Photographs

I am not really a holiday person. I don’t like special days that make everything more crowded and more complicated than they would be on an average day. I am very bah humbug, not just for Christmas but for just about all holidays. My mindset is that I just try to celebrate life everyday. I don’t need a special holiday to make me feel more appreciative of life or all the things this world has to offer.

I try to be appreciative of and thoughtful about all the characteristics of life on a regular basis. And so many of our holidays are just overly commercialized to the point that they essentially lose any meaning that they once held. For me I try to be in the moment and appreciate life without needing a special reason to do so.

But, ther is one thing that I do like about holidays. Holidays can create unique opportunities for photogrpahy. Around the holidays a lot can change or events may be going on that create opportunities for photogrpahy. I really like to try and capture more creative type images during these times.

There are just so many opportunities. Pick up your camera and go outside. Look for something that is different during the holidays. Photograph it in an unusual way.
