One photo a day challenge: Day 74.
I bought these carnations a while ago to use in this project. They are lasting a lot longer than I would have expected. I wanted to take advantage of them for some more photos before the blossoms do fade.
For this photo I wanted to highlight the purple streaks at the edges of each blossom petal.
To do this I got up close to the flower blossom with my 60mm macro lens. I set my f-stop as wide as possible to really isolate the edges of the flower petals.
