Spring Migration | American Wigeon | New York

I don’t often see an American Wigeon. Let alone a pair.

A great time to se them is during migration.

Spring migration is when I see them most often.

On this occasion I didn’t even have to travel to find them.

This pair had stopped over during migration at one of our local parks.

This pair of American Wigeons was just swimming along the pond.
