Composure | Mourning Dove | New York
Mourning Doves don’t get a lot of fanfare.
No one is out there saying Mourning Doves are my favorite birds.
I have struggled to create photos of them that I think are really good.
I like the feather detail along the Mourning Dove’s back. And I like the subtle side like on the Doves face.
The bright stripe in the background really highlights the Mourning Dove.
Photo details: Nikon D500. Nikon 300mm f/4. Focal length 420. ISO 1250. 1/800 sec. f/5.6.
