Looked at a photo of a beautiful mountain scene and tried to use it as a reference to create this piece of digital art. There are something’s I like and some things that I still have not quite figured out how to render in the digital form.
I saw a preview for a nature documentary featuring star trails. So I was inspired to try and create some star trail art. I think this first attempt turned out pretty good. What do you think?

Good day for a recovery run on some tired legs.
Capped off what ended up being a total of a trail half marathon running two of the FLRC Challenge courses at one of my favorite places that I don’t get to nearly often enough, the trails at Cornell Lab of O. Trails were perfect and soft after a long run. Then we went and walked the Lakefront Loops 5k course. I’m really happy with how my legs held up.
I love it when I have a chance to get down to Wellsboro and run with the Tyoga Running Club in their group runs. They are a great group of people. There is always a fun route planned. And I am almost always running somewhere I’ve never been before.
