Today I ran the Red Trail at Tanglewood Nature Center. This was my third attempt at running my fastest time on that loop. I had a decent time on my first attempt. On my second attempt I shaved some time off. I thought maybe I could get even a little bit faster. On my third attempt I went out a little later in the day than I would like to because I… Read More

Everyone has to start somewhere. In order to start you have to have opportunity. Tanglewood Nature Center was that opportunity for me. Early in my photography Tanglewood was where I could go to see the natural world. It was here I discovered birds. It was here that I began down the path of discovery that lead me to the photography work I do today. Help support Tanglewood Nature Center so others may… Read More

One of the reasons I love going to Tanglewood Nature Center is for the opportunities for bird watching that the natural areas there provide. But anyway, here are some nice photographs from one of my favorite places, Tanglewood Nature Center, where I love to visit, hang out, run and enjoy nature. This Trail down the hill… Read More

Its been too long since I have gotten out for a good hike, and this winter has been too long. With this last snowstorm that blew through New York it feels like winter will never end despite spring being just around the corner. The only thing that makes it any better is that after this snow storm I was able to get out to one of my favorite places and experience what… Read More
